OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The Catholic Family Services Bureau is a voluntary, not-for-profit, accredited family service agency whose purpose is the promotion and strengthening of the quality of family life on Prince Edward Island. The purpose is carried out through the provision of professional counseling, education and advocacy services which are based on the recognition of the unique worth and dignity of each human being from conception until natural death. The helping and healing process includes the physical, emotional, social and spiritual dimensions of the person. Services are available to all regardless of age, race, creed/religion, material status, sex, and sexual orientation.

Welcome to the Catholic Family Service Bureau. Our experienced staff will meet your therapeutic needs by providing the highest level of professional individual, couple, and family counselling services. We use both traditional therapeutic techniques and creative arts counselling interventions. Also, the team provides wellness education programs and advocacy for all Islanders.
The team will provide each individual and family with dignity and respect in our confidential therapeutic interventions. The Bureau is sensitive to cultural diversity and available to provide supports and services to all Islanders. At all times the team will demonstrate understanding, skills, comfort, tolerance, and sensitivity toward cultural differences such as ethnicity, culture, age, gender, sexual orientation, abilities, economic status, and religious/spiritual affiliation.
We at the Catholic Family Services Bureau are very proud of our rich history and contribution to individuals and families on Prince Edward Island. As a not-for-profit organization, we have been providing quality services to meet the needs of Islanders for the past 80 years. As we move forward into the future our team will continue to meet the needs of all Islanders with effective quality services.
